Chrystal Fong Chern Ying

Dr Chrystal Fong is a Family Physician at Asia Health Partners, a subsidiary of Singapore Institute of Advanced Medicine Holdings that provides holistic and personalized health care services, including Proton Beam Therapy. She has over 15 years of experience in clinic practice, with a special interest in preventative health care, wellness, and chronic disease management. She holds a Fellowship in Family Medicine from The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a certificate in Skin Cancer from The University of Queensland.

Dr Fong has worked in various medical settings across Australia and Singapore, including hospitals, rural health, metropolitan clinics, and health screening clinics. She has a strong understanding of the clinical needs of diverse populations and a keen sense of innovation and leadership in primary health care.

She was involved in the planning and execution of the Chronic Disease GP Decantment Program of the Primary Care Network in Singapore in 2019-2022 and the deputy lead of the Pilot Paediatric Decantment Program at a polyclinic branch of the National Healthcare Group (NHGP) from 2020-2022. The decantment projects are a collaboration between public and private health sectors to improve the quality and accessibility of chronic care and managing of health care resources.

She served as a front liner in one of the busiest polyclinics in Singapore during the Covid-19 pandemic and was respected as an efficient, reliable and hardworking individual amongst her colleagues within the split team arrangements to deliver high standard of medical care in challenging circumstances.

She last served at the position of senior staff (equivalent to associate consultant) at the National Healthcare group professional position prior to her move to private practice in 2022.

She is an active sports person who has keen interests in lifestyle medicine, medical technology and longevity themed medical care. She takes personal pride in living the lifestyle medicine pillars herself.
